I forgot my password
On the sign-in page, choose Forgot your password? and type your email address. If that address has an account, a reset link is on its way. If it has not arrived after a few minutes, look in your spam folder.
How do I join my restaurant?
Your manager invites you by email. Open the link in that email and choose a password. The account is yours, not the restaurant's: if you move to another restaurant, every pass you earned comes with you.
How do I start my restaurant?
Go to credplate.com/new, or choose I run a restaurant on the front page. Create your account, type your restaurant's name, and you are in as its admin. Then add a test and invite your team. It is free while we welcome our first restaurants.
What is the restaurant tablet?
A tablet or phone that stays at the restaurant, for anyone who would rather not use their own phone. Each person taps their name, types their PIN and takes a test. A manager sets it up: sign in, then Restaurant settings, then Restaurant tablet. Staff set their PIN in Settings, or a manager sets one for them on the Team page.
I can't take a test again yet
A restaurant can set a wait before a test can be taken again, so nobody gets through it by guessing. Try again once that wait is over. If it seems wrong, ask your manager, who sets it.
Deleting your account
On the web, go to Settings and choose Delete my account. In the iPhone app, go to Profile and choose Delete account. It removes your name, email, password and profile, signs you out everywhere, and cannot be undone. If you are the only admin of a restaurant, hand it to someone else first.
You can also write to hello@credplate.com from the address on your account, and we will delete it within 30 days. The privacy policy says exactly what is removed and what a restaurant keeps.
For managers
Tests, your team and invitations are managed at credplate.com, signed in as a restaurant's admin or manager.
